Tom is an older HIV+ male who has spent the majority of his life in captivity and biomedical research. Since his arrival at the sanctuary, Tom has slowly begun to come out of his shell. His closest friend is Pat, a Fauna Foundation employee. Tom loves sipping a hot cup of tea, playing chase between the bars or exchanging squirts of water with the hose. Tom also loves to wash his room with the hose, as well as meticulously clean his hands and feet. To get your attention, he will do back flips and clap his hands. Tom is definitely a little boy in a big guy's body!
