The newest addition to the family, Toby arrived at the chimpanzee sanctuary in the summer of 2002 after spending most of his life at a zoo in northern Quebec. Toby is a big guy with an impressive display, yet it is his love of painting that really captures attention. He is an avid and focused painter, using a particular watercolour technique to create some beautiful works of art. His paintings have even been displayed and sold in art galleries around the country. Toby also loves toys with moveable parts and, keeping with his artistic nature, brushes and buckets of water.
